Mednafen is a portable, utilizing OpenGL and SDL, argument(command-line)-driven multi-system emulator. The Model 1, 3 and 4 are a line of compatible computers. The Model 2 has its own line of compatibles including the Model 12, 16 and 6000 which are not yet emulated by trs80gp. The emulator runs under Windows 10 and probably works on Windows 8, 7, Vista or XP. I've also heard it runs fine on OSX and Linux machines using Wine. So now i have the roms on my pc, doing nothing untill i can find an emulator to handle one. (also a model 1 and 2 emulator would not go amiss - so i can use this cable to play a VF2 board etc - becuase its cheaper than buying the systems that they were on and the game + its a better version). The only config option other than steering, brake and accelerator is button 1,2,3,4. If I reconfigure the iPac for Indy500 I can't configure the controls for Sega Touring or GT24. If you were to click the option in Model2 for Daytona and Sega Rally it would show Gear 1,2,3,4 and View 1,2,3,4 as well as buttons etc which allows for full.

Due to the threaded model of emulation used in Mednafen, and limitations of SDL, a joystick is preferred over a keyboard to play games, as the joystick will have slightly less latency, although the latency differences may not be perceptible to most people.
